mgratk2 asked:

Which world leader is planning to sign a bill soon which will end funding for school vouchers in the capital city of his nation? This bill will mean that at his daughter’s elite private school, Sidwell Friends School, two students will have to go back to public schools next year. James and Sarah Parker are two black students who will lose their school vouchers which provide them a freedom of choice of schools. Which world leader are we talking about here?
Why isn’t Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton going up against the teacher’s unions and this mystery world leader?

Where in the constitution does the federal government have the authority to FUND schools?

Education is a service provided to people with children who attend.

In a free society, people pay for services, and goods, as they need them.

If Obama WAS cutting some of the $150 Billion in illegal school funding, GOOD! It will be one of the first good things he has done.

Obama, he must **** poor African American children..

That’s rich. The Federal government throws wads of cash at the schools every year but when some of it yields positive results it is suddenly a problem..

Because according to Al and Jesse, our great world leader can do no wrong. And to answer your question, that is President Obama.

Not much of a mystery, but the man’s backers have hated the idea of “performance” pay since the unions took control of children’s education.

Private school is no more a right than health care.
Maybe you people should start taking a more consistent approach to politics.

Not happening here in Canada. And why would two americans concern themselves with another country’s school funding bill?

You blame this all on Obama, and yet, even the Mayor and Chancellor DC don’t believe that vouchers are the answer.

“Mayor [Adrian M.] Fenty and Chancellor Rhee strongly believe that all families in the District of Columbia must have access to excellent public school options and are committed to ensuring that students in every ward are afforded this opportunity. While Chancellor Rhee hasn’t taken a formal position on vouchers, she disagrees with the notion that vouchers are the remedy for repairing the city’s school system.”

Congress and DC’s council would have to agree to re-authorize the program.

Under the guise of “equality” liberals are constantly hurting those they are supposed to be helping. Obama is the culmination of years of liberal teaching in sub-standard public schools and liberal universities.

He’s now “helping” poor folks by keeping them from the educational opportunities that his girls enjoy. He’s helping to keep them poor by keeping them in dangerous, low-performing schools that he will no doubt promise to throw more (tax-payer) money at to “fix”. But it will NEVER work. Liberalism kills hope; it has NEVER inspired hope.

edit: Oh yeah, the answer: That would be the dishonorable Barack Hussein Oh, bummer! Thank you very much!

edit2: where has this question been??? It disappeared for a while, didn’t it? Or is it just me?
