-The band members consist of twins: Alejandra and Claudia Deheza, formerly of On! Air! Library! and Benjamin Curtis formerly of Secret Machines.
-The band is named after the School of Seven Bells, a legendary pickpocket training academy.

What I love about this song is the way the lyrics just flow together, in one long kind of stream of consciousness
I favorited this song ages ago and I still think it’s absolutely brilliant - it’s one of those rare songs you can hear over and over and just never get fed-up. U2’s ‘4th of July’ is like that too - Does anyone know if ‘the School’ are coming to London?
yeah i saw them in MPLS at the Triple Rock with M83 and they sounded great live, and the twins are so ****. Great band!

I was starting to think I was too old to get enthusiastic about new bands, but these guys really got my attention.
As a huge fan of bands that defy genre (Spiritualized, Belle & Sebastian, Not Drowning Waving), I hope The School does really well.
I **** to make comparisons, but they sound like all my High School Indie band faves combined into one gorgeous sonic package. Awesome!
Just saw their new album get a good review on Rolling Stone and decided to check them out. I really like their sound, think i’ll get the album.
I read an interview to The Edge (U2) and he was talking about this as an interesting band. Good advice!
