I am currently taking high school courses through distance learning to receive my high school diploma. Some people have suggested for me to take the GED because sometimes I have difficulty studying from home. Ultimately, I would want to continue on with my courses. But I am wondering, what is the difference between the two? Will having a high school diploma guarantee better admissions in college and a better job?

My boyfriend is not sure if he wants to go to the JVS (joint vocational school) but his mom and step-dad are pushing him over the limit and he doesn’t know what to do. I have been telling him that the JVS is the worst idea if he wants to go to college(Which he does). I am just curious on your opinions of if you think the JVS is a good school for people who are planning on going to a four year college?

Just want to know if anyone has gone through medical school and had a baby. My husband wants to have a child, but I’ve not been happy with the idea since I am planning to go to medical school next year. I love children, but I don’t want to be neglectful towards my own child and want to focus on school. How difficult will it be to attend med school and take care of a kid at the same time?
Well, if there is a medical school that offers courses online, make sure that you do not go see the doctor who graduated from that university. LOL!!!

What would be the difference in getting a degree from some tech school as opposed to a university? There has to be some benefit of going to university… the way it seems now when I research it is all propaganda. If all is true that I read about tech schools, why would anybody go to university? Is it just as easy to get a job with a degree from a tech school as a university? ANY information on this would be greatly appreciated.
